An innovative Barcelona-based company focused on smart energy supply is looking for a talented Sales and Advertising E-commerce Specialist to take their incredible products to new marketplaces. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Owning marketplace strategies and advising brand management as a business expert.
  • Designing and executing specific action plans to boost your marketplace’s performance, monitoring daily success metrics, and delivering top-level customer experience 
  • Proactively developing international expansion opportunities
  • Leading project management, ensuring timely delivery and achievement of business targets.
  • Overseeing analysis of key metrics, implementing appropriate responses and monitoring results.
  • Maximising revenue and optimizing advertising ROI across eCommerce platforms.
  • Actively managing PPC/search and programmatic campaigns, improving metrics: ROAS, CTR and conversion rate, search ranking, discoverability, and visibility.
  • Ensuring digital content is up-to-date across all points of sale. 
  • Managing stock, new products and product discontinuations.
  • Liaising with external (agencies and partners) and internal (Marketing, Sales, Operations) stakeholders to deliver top-class work and results.
  • Overseeing implementation of ad campaigns and delivering reporting per marketplace. 

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree – ideally Engineering, Business or similar preferred.
  • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience with managing various eCommerce marketplaces – Amazon plus one of: eBay, CoolBlue, Otto, ManoMano, Bol.com, Allegro.eu, Worten. 
  • C1 written and verbal communication in English is an absolute must.
  • Other European languages (German, Dutch, Nordics, French) would be a plus.
  • Barcelona based or ability to relocate (at least partially)
  • You’ll be highly literate in IT, with a past record in using web and associated technologies to drive traffic and sales in a marketplace environment.
  • Solid business acumen and understanding of markets and sales landscapes. 
  •  Good Excel skills.
  • Strong advertising background with experience managing and reporting campaigns on ad platforms (e.g., Amazon Ads etc). 
  • Prior experience with data and analysis to contribute a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • You need proactive self-starter energy, keen to take ownership of your projects and work.
