The remaining part you will focus on managing a small team of engineers, as well as working with product owners and managers on planning the upcoming projects.

Responsibilities 

  • Setting the direction for the team, providing regular feedback and ensuring that engineering best practices are followed. 
  • Representation of the team at the company and department levels.
  • Management and delivery to stakeholders´ expectations. 
  • Collaboration with the Engineering and Business Unit Managers on creating a rewarding working environment that is in line with the company culture. 
  • Implementation of a continuous learning program for the team. 
  • Creation of scalable solutions to support high-traffic applications. 
  • Participation in the overall product/system architectural development. 
  • Defining project deadlines and tracking project progress to ensure on-time delivery. 

Requirements: 

  • At least 2 years of experience managing a team of 3+ software engineers and fostering their growth and development. 
  • 4+ years of experience in front-end development, with expertise in Vue.js or similar reactive libraries (React, Angular) and proficiency in JavaScript ES6 or later. 
  • Knowledge of Agile development processes. 
  • Working experience with CI/CD. 
  • Previous experience developing cloud-native applications on GCP or similar platforms. 
  • Solid understanding of back-end systems (e.g., Node.js, PHP) 

Soft skills: 

  • Working proficiency in both spoken and written English. 
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills. 
  • Experience working within remote setting. 
  • Analytical mindset with a can-do attitude. 
  • Understanding of software development in terms of business value.
